Dr. Karen Sobel Lojeski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Technology and Society in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Stony Brook University, U.S. Karen is also the Founder of Virtual Distance International and is the world’s leading expert on Virtual Distance, her award-winning discovery. Virtual Distance is a measure of what’s lost when the human being is translated through the machine.

Karen has demonstrated that Virtual Distance dynamics have a significant impact on leadership, innovation, productivity, employee engagement and more.She has developed a rich set of solutions to improve performance at all levels of the organization and has worked with dozens of major corporations and other institutions around the world including the World Economic Forum.
