New integration project aims to increase diversity in Swedish industry
The Stockholm School of Economics is launching a new educational program geared towards accelerating integration of university graduates who have recently arrived in Sweden as refugees. The project is supported by the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems.
This new executive education program will hopefully provide a fast track into the Swedish job market for qualifying graduates who have applied and/or been granted asylum in Sweden.
Rapid Acceleration Management Program (RAMP) is the first program of its kind in Sweden. During one year, newly arrived refugees will be offered internships at a Swedish company. These internships will be interspersed with a ten-week intensive management education program conducted in English.
The RAMP initiative aims to increase diversity in Swedish industry and strengthen Swedish competitiveness. The program could start as soon as September 2016.
