This is an executive program for you who analyse and valuate companies, who take part of other’s analyses in your work, or who need to better understand how investors and analysts work and improve your communication with them. The program has a practical focus and the participants work in groups during the program week with their own analysis/valuation of a listed company.

The program Investment Analysis is an intensive program that covers the following topics:
- Analysis of profit margins, capital turnover ratio and other financial ratios
- Accounting problems when performing a financial statement analysis
- Analysis of industry and corporate strategy
- Forecasting and pro-forma statements
- The dividend discount model
- The discounted cash flow model
- Estimating the cost of capital
- Macroeconomics and future levels of interest rates
The education is conducted by teachers and researchers from the Stockholm School of Economics and its network. Lectures are varied with different exercises to link theory and practice together and provide you with new tools for your work.
Another important aspect of the program is sharing experiences with other participants for qualified perspectives and input on your challenges.
The purpose of the program is that you will understand how the theoretical valuation models are composed but also to provide training in applying these models in practice. You will also learn to critically evaluate other people’s analyses.
In the meeting with other participants, you will be offered a unique exchange of experience and opportunities for an expanded professional network.
