The Diploma Program for Financial Analysts is an extensive executive education that will give you a deep, conceptual understanding of the concepts and methods used in the financial market today – both in detail and in general. Over 500 have completed the Diploma Program for Financial Analysts since the program was first launched in 1994.

The Diploma Program for Financial Analysts contains the following topics;
- Portfolio Management
- Derivatives and Risk Management
- Fixed Income Instruments
- Macroeconomic Analysis
- Financial Statement Analysis
- Equity and Corporate Valuation
- Corporate Finance
This executive education is conducted by teachers and researchers from the Stockholm School of Economics and its network. Lectures are varied with different exercises, including computer-based exercises where we work with real models and current market data. These exercises are a direct link between theory and practice and provide you with new tools in your work.
Another important aspect of the program is sharing experiences with other participants for qualified perspectives and input on your challenges.
You can study the parts consecutively over a one year period, or you can study them spread out over a longer period. You also have the choice to study the contents of the diploma as three shorter programs; Portfolio and Risk Management, Fixed Income Instruments and Macroeconomics and Valuation and Corporate Finance.
The program is aimed at people with a university degree, who have worked several years in the financial sector, and who now want to broaden and deepen their knowledge in financial economics.

Diploma and Certifications
Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education cooperates with the Swedish Society of Financial Analysts (SFF) and after successfully completing the Diploma Program for Financial Analysts you are entitled to receive several diplomas and certifications:
- you will receive a diploma from Stockholm School of Economics.
- you can apply to the Swedish Society of Financial Analysts to receive the title AFA (Authorized Finance Analyst (Sw. Auktoriserad Finansanalytiker).
- You can apply to the Swedish Society of Financial Analysts to receive the European title CEFA (Certified European Financial Analyst).
