Rapid changes in the competitive landscape, technologies, and market demands require fast responses, adjustments, and modification to new conditions.

Many managers and leaders claim that they don’t succeed in driving development inside their organizations at the same pace as changes occur on the outside. Consequently, SSE Executive Education created a program that supports them as they build and restructure their organizations to better manage continuous transformations. The Leading Transformative Organizations program starts in April 2021.

- As more and more industries are exposed to disruption, companies must adapt accordingly to remain relevant and sustainable in the long term,” said Frida Pemer, Online Program Director and Associate Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics. “Reformulating strategies and structures is crucial – as is daring to rethink customer-value delivery methods via processes, procedures, culture, and leadership.

Anders Richtnér, Associate Professor and CEO of SSE Executive Education, thinks there’s a clear need for in-depth understanding of digital transformation.

- Today, there’s an extensive need for both concrete methods to understand and be able to act in the present times, but also to gain a deeper understanding and get perspective on its implications in order to drive and change organizations. Leading Transformative Organizations is the second program in a series where we are creating Northern Europe’s foremost platform where leaders meet in a digital context to strengthen both their leadership and their organization’s capacity for innovation and change. This is done with support from an international network of lecturers tied to the Stockholm School of Economics,” says Anders Richtnér, Associate Professor and CEO of SSE Executive Education.

The program supports participants by providing knowledge, tools, and insights. During the LTO program, participants develop a road map that they can immediately use for leading and developing organizations. The program starts in April 2021.
